Launched with a major NT$ 4 million guarantee (about US$ 124,600), the TMT Championship partnered with the Korean Poker Face Global Tournament (PFGT) to create the PFGT x Taipei Cup Mystery Bounty. Starting with a hopeful total of 174 players between Flight A and Flight B, the event launched its first two flights. 27 players progressed from these two flights to the Day 2 Final, scheduled for October 31.
With a healthy chip count of 713,000, Wei Jen Wang was leading the group from Flight B. Yu Chien Kung from Flight A trailed him with 358,000 chips. Complementing the top three chip leaders was Seung Hyuk Jung, who had 313,000 Flight A chips. Along with this, strong contenders from this Mystery Bounty event already point to an exciting conclusion.

Attracting 36 entrants, each paying NT$ 15,000 (about US$ 465), this event generated a total prize fund of NT$ 471,500 (about US$ 14,450). Six players made it to the money, and Segers emerged as the champion with NT$ 183,900—about US$ 5,735.
Segers beat well-known Taiwanese player Wu Chiayun in an exciting heads-up match; he left with NT$ 108,400 (approximately US$ 3,380), a second-place result. Despite, this victory, Segers has established himself among the top TMT Championship players and made a great impression on the international poker scene with his skills.
