The Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT) Jeju 2025 concluded in the picturesque island of Jeju, South Korea, with players from around Asia competing for prestigious titles. The ten-day festival, held from May 1 to 10 at the Landing Casino, saw 3,281 entries and a massive prize pool of KR₩ 5,566,633,900 (over $392,000). While Chinese players dominated the event, Indian poker pros made their presence felt, with standout performances from Siddharth Karia and Pramana Iliadi Irvan.
Siddharth Karia’s Near Miss in the Red Dragon Closer

Among the Indian contingent, Siddharth Karia was the standout performer. The Ahmedabad-based professional came agonizingly close to securing his first-ever title in Jeju, finishing as the runner-up in Event #35: KR₩ 1.50M Red Dragon Closer. Karia battled fiercely throughout the two-day event but ultimately fell short to Chinese pro Weiran Pu. Nevertheless, Karia’s effort earned him a well-deserved KR₩ 11.76 Million (~ ₹7.05 Lakhs).
“It’s a bit disappointing to finish second, but I’m proud of how I played,” Karia said after his impressive run. “It’s always tough to face top-tier players like Pu, but this performance motivates me to keep pushing and improving.”
Karia’s runner-up finish in Jeju adds to an already strong 2025 campaign. The young player, who once dreamed of a career in cricket, has made poker a priority this year. With consistent performances in Manila and a final table appearance in Taipei, his dedication to the sport is paying off. As of now, he has secured eight live tournament cashes in 2025, a promising sign for his future in the poker world.

Irvan Shines With Double Cash, Including Heads-Up Finish
Pramana Iliadi Irvan also represented India with distinction at RDPT Jeju. Irvan had a solid series, cashing in two events. His best finish came in Event #28: KR₩ 1M 20/20/20 NLH SHOT CLOCK, where he reached heads-up play before finishing second. That result earned him KR₩ 8.32 Million (~ ₹5.14 Lakhs), and combined with another in-the-money finish, his total earnings for the series amounted to KR₩ 21.47 Million (~ ₹12.86 Lakhs).
“I had a great time competing in Jeju, and I’m happy with my results,” Irvan said. “While I didn’t get the title, the experience was invaluable, and I’m motivated to come back stronger.”
Although India didn’t capture an RDPT Jeju trophy, Karia and Irvan’s impressive performances showcased that Indian players remain a strong force on the Asian poker circuit.
