Today at the EPT Prague 2024 event in the Prague Hilton, PokerStars is introducing their first-ever Live Spin & Go Championship. There are 81 participants vying for over €100,000 in prize money; hence, this much-awaited event is intriguing.
Player Qualification in Live Spin & Go Championship
Players did not directly purchase tickets for this Players must instead qualify by playing PokerStars Live Spin & Go Championship. Strong leaderboards helped 74 players secure their slots. 33 players from the dot-com network qualified, 24 from Southern Europe (France, Spain, and Portugal), and 17 from. They also invited seven other distinguished guests, including PokerStars’ ambassadors and celebrities.as well.
The Championship Organisation
The event consists of three-handed Hyper Turbo Sit & Go games using the popular online Spin & Go structure. Players will start with 400 chips, which equates to 20 big blinds, and play at rapid blinds that increase every 4 minutes. The festival will run for two days. There will be 27 tables splitting 81 players in the first round. Every table will include three players; the four game winners from each table will proceed to Round 2.
Round Two and Mystery Awards In Live Spin & Go Championship
There will be 27 players remaining and vying at 9 tables in Round 2. Players will thus be able to win mystery prizes ranging in value from €2,000 to €10,000. There will be €30,000 available overall as prizes. Players must score five games to move to Round 3.
Round three and regular payouts:
The last nine players in Round 3 will square off at three tables. Like in past rounds, they must have five wins to advance to the last round. Regular payouts starting in this round will provide €7,300 in prize money. Players will also fight for an extra €17,000 in mystery envelope awards.
The Last Round
The top three players in the last round will fight for the grand awards. The champion will bring home a Spin & Go Championship trophy along with €25,000. The second-place finisher will take €15,000; the third-place runner will get €10,000.

With a total of €30,000, mystery awards of €2,000 to €10,000 abound.
Round three consists of regular payments of €7,300 plus €17,000 in mystery rewards.
Final Round
- First place: €25,000 together with the trophy.
- Second place: €15,000.
- Third place goes for €10,000.
Notable Participants
Several well-known poker players will participate in the championship. These comprise streamer Andy PSX, poker coach Marco Perra, 2018 and 2024 Magic World Champion Javier Dominguez, and PokerStars ambassadors Nick Walsh and Felix Schneider.
Representing 19 Nations
The eighty-one participants hail from nineteen different nations. With 24 players, Spain leads, followed by Italy with 18 in Live Spin & Go Championship. Among other nations are Romania, Brazil, Moldova, the UK, Poland, Lithuania, Mexico, Argentina, and more.
Live Spin & Go Championship Qualifiers
74 of the 81 players qualified using PokerStars Spin & Go. The split is as follows:
