Taipei City’s Asia Poker Arena is the site of the WPT Prime Taiwan. A large number of poker players can enjoy the game here simultaneously. The festival will take place from August 6th until the 19th, 2024. Nearly two weeks’ worth of poker!

Updated Entry Methods for the Competition
The organisers of these poker tournaments have thought of a novel way to streamline the registration process. “Passport Dollars” is the name given to it. Allow me to explain:
- In different games, there are special tickets called “Passports” that players can win.
- You can get a set amount of money for these passports.
- Players can use these Passports to enter major tournaments.
- If they’d instead not utilise the entire Passport, they can split it into smaller portions called “Passport Dollars.”
- Using these Passport Dollars, they can participate in the Taiwan tournament and nearly all the others.
Players now have more options with this new system. Even if they earned a Passport to a different event, they still have the freedom to choose which ones they wish to participate in.
What Are The Next Steps?
Nothing is now known regarding the additional poker events that will take place at the WPT Prime Taiwan festival. Not all information has been shared with us by the organisers. Many people hope this year’s event will be the largest one ever because of what has transpired in the previous two years and the new Passport Dollars system.
Taipei is preparing to host poker players from throughout the globe. The prospect of playing poker, making new friends, and competing for great prizes excites them. The thought of many people travelling to Taipei to participate in this significant event is thrilling, even if you don’t play poker.
