Rebirth Of The Asian Poker Tour

With new administration re-establishing the APT just two years ago, the institution has a legendary past. Events in Hanoi, Da Nang, Taipei, Phu Quoc, and Incheon have fast spread its impact over Asia since then. Once again on the map, Manila, a major site in the annals of Asian poker, is confirming its indispensible role for the game. Ambitious plans, particularly the forthcoming Manila leg. This is expected to encompass over eighty events—a notable rise from past years—mark the APT’s comeback.

With events regularly held there since 2007, Manila has long been a popular choice for poker competitions. Among the most opulent casinos in Asia, the Hyatt Manila offers first-rate amenities. It provides a unique experience for tournament planners as well as players.

Asian Poker Tour: After Taipei Leg

The APT will have the Taipei leg from September 27 to October 7 before making their arrival in Manila. Scheduled immediately after, the Manila tour is likely to keep the momentum and provide Asian subcontinent exciting poker action. To ensure a great success for the Manila event, the APT has teamed with Soul Poker Club and City of Dreams. These partnerships provide gamers an unparalleled poker festival, therefore improving their whole experience.

Reviewing Apt Philippines 2022 Iii

APT Philippines III from November 15 to 27 at Newport World Resorts marks the final time APT visited Manila. Attracting 2,893 entries, the event had 41 competitions. Among the noteworthy winners were Moses Saquing, who won the Main Event title along with a sizable ₱4,915,000 (about $86,101), and Paul Kiem, who came first in the Championships Event and brought ₱4,196,300 home.

APT Philippines 2022 III’s success raises a high standard, and with the next trip, hopes are skyrocketing. Whispers abound that the APT might bring a record-breaking guaranteed prize pool (GTD) to draw elite poker players from all around. This kind of action will surely improve the competitiveness and establish Manila as a top poker destination.

A Legacy Of Groundbreaking Occasions

APT Events Private Limited most recently assumed control in June 2022, therefore launching a fresh phase of expansion and development.

The APT has kept flourishing under its new leadership; 2023 stands out as especially prosperous year. Attracting around 10,000 entrants, the events that year took place in the recently built CTP Asia Poker Arena and amply demonstrated the increasing appeal of the tour. APT 2023 also unveiled revised trophies, therefore augmenting the conventional honors with a modern touch.
