Eastwood was happy about the result, showing an eight—the highest card value. This meant he would acquire more buy-in from Barone, increasing his stake in the company’s performance. Though not as excited about the swap, Barone received the news with excellent sportsmanship and humour.

Navarro felt the strain of her rigorous schedule even with this great success. She said, “My confidence is very high; I feel unbeatable.” Still, there was obvious tiredness from the prior day. Navarro acknowledged that she found it challenging to keep her eyes open since she suffered from extreme fatigue. She purchased a pair of sunglasses to aid in maintaining focus throughout the Main Event to fight this.

With several outstanding players, the 888 poker team started Day 1 of the Main Event with great expectations and mixed degrees of success.
