The WPT Cambodia Main Event has reached its final stage, with just seven players remaining out of an original 750 entrants. The stakes have never been higher, as the finalists battle for a share of the $2,400,750 prize pool, with the blinds now at 50,000/75,000/75,000.

At the forefront of this thrilling finale are two Indian poker stars—Ankit Ahuja and Aditya Agarwal, both carrying the hopes of poker in India as they compete for the prestigious WPT title and the $390,650 first-place prize.

Ankit Ahuja Leads the Final Table

Chip Count: 12,375,000 (1st Overall)

Ankit Ahuja has dominated this tournament, entering the final table as the overwhelming chip leader. Holding over 12.3 million chips, he has almost double the stack of the second-place player, Daniel Charlton (7.5 million).

Ahuja is no stranger to success, having won the Eureka Main Event at EPT Cyprus 2023 for ₹3.01 Cr ($362,365). His deep tournament experience, aggressive playstyle, and ability to handle pressure put him in a prime position to claim his first-ever WPT title.

If he continues this momentum, India could soon have a new WPT champion.

Aditya Agarwal’s Fight to the Top

Chip Count: 1,975,000 (6th Overall)

While Ankit Ahuja is sitting comfortably at the top, Aditya Agarwal is playing the role of a gritty survivor. With just under 2 million chips, he is one of the shorter stacks at the final table.

Agarwal, a WSOP bracelet winner (2024) and one of India’s most accomplished poker professionals, is known for staying calm under pressure and making the right moves at the right time. If he can find a well-timed double-up, he could quickly become a serious contender for the title.

With poker India growing stronger each year, a deep run from Agarwal and Ahuja at this stage further cements India’s presence in international poker tournaments.

Every player left at the final table has already locked up a life-changing score, but the real battle is for the top prize of $390,650. Here’s how the payouts look:

  • 1st Place: $390,650
  • 2nd Place: $255,000

With such massive payouts, the final table is expected to be a strategic battle of patience and aggression.

Can Poker India Capture a WPT Title?

With Ankit Ahuja in the driver’s seat and Aditya Agarwal still in the fight, this could be a historic moment for poker in India.

A victory for Ahuja or Agarwal would further cement India’s place in the global poker scene, inspiring a new generation of Indian players to pursue high-stakes international poker.
